Jango Fett is a skilled Mandalorian bounty hunter and mercenary in the Star Wars universe.
He first appeared in the film *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones* (2002). Fett was chosen by the Sith Lord, Count Dooku, to be the genetic template for the clone army of the Republic.
In exchange for his genetic material, Fett requested a substantial payment and an unaltered clone for himself, whom he named Boba Fett. Jango served as a bounty hunter for hire, taking on various dangerous missions.
He was known for his proficiency in combat, utilizing a jetpack, blaster pistols, and other advanced weaponry. Jango was ultimately killed during the Battle of Geonosis by Mace Windu.
